With registrations for the 2026 Corporate Cup now officially open, we’ve put together a quick guide to help you find your team’s perfect event! Whether your team thrives on the buzz of a live event or needs the ultimate flexibility of a virtual format, we’ve broken down each option below so you can find your perfect fit.
Remember, companies can enter multiple teams of up to 7 people across different events, but each individual team must lock in just one location and one category for the season.
Take a look at the 2026 options to see what suits your squad best!
1. CBD: City/Karrawirra (On-Site)
-
Where: Victoria Drive (Opposite Torrens Parade Ground)
-
Distances: 2.2km, 4.5km, or 7.2km
-
Categories: Most Improved or Fastest
As our flagship and most popular hub, the City location brings together around 2,500 participants to run or walk alongside the scenic River Torrens. This is a fully staffed, traditional race-day setup. You’ll use an official timing card to tap on and off at the start/finish lines, and your results will be live online the very next day.
-
When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays (7 rounds total), starting August 5th. Turn up anytime between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
2. North: Mawson Lakes (On-Site)
-
Where: Mawson Lakes Boulevard (Opposite Relish on Main)
-
Distances: 2.25km (1 lap) or 4.5km (2 laps)
-
Categories: Most Improved or Fastest
The perfect hub for businesses and residents in the northern suburbs. You’ll start and finish at the same spot, completing either one or two laps around the beautiful lake. Like the CBD, this location is fully staffed with electronic timing cards to track your progress. Hassle-free parking is easily accessible on the street or within the ALDI carpark.
-
When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays, starting August 12th. Participate between 6:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
3. West: Semaphore South (Self-Timed Course)
-
Where: The Esplanade, Semaphore South
-
Distances: 2.25km or 4.5km
-
Categories: Most Improved or Fastest
Love the coastal breeze but need a bit more flexibility? Semaphore South offers a set physical course without the time constraints. Because this location is unstaffed and doesn’t use physical timing cards, you can complete your run or walk at any time on the scheduled day. Just track your effort using your preferred GPS app (smartwatch, Fitbit, or phone) and upload a screenshot of your time to our portal. Free 24/7 parking is right on site.
-
When: Fortnightly on Thursdays, starting August 13th.
4. Anywhere: The Fully Virtual Category
-
Where: Wherever you want!
-
Distance: Limitless (Set your own goals)
-
Sub-categories: Work Team or Social/Running Group
If absolute flexibility is what your team needs, this completely virtual option is for you. The goal here shifts from “speed” to logging distance, making it all about racking up maximum kilometres. Instead of being locked into a single day, you have the entire fortnight to complete your distance. You can stick to the traditional once-a-fortnight schedule, or log multiple walks/runs across the two weeks—it’s entirely up to you.
Rather than just tracking daily footsteps, this category counts intentional “activity.” You can log workouts you already do (like your daily dog walk or weekend jog) via a GPS tracker and upload the screenshot to our portal. To keep your team motivated online, we feature tiered round targets (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum distances) as well as fun milestone achievements (like virtually walking from Adelaide to Port Wakefield!).
Keen to see how it works? Because this format differs from the traditional Corporate Cup, we’ve put together a quick explainer video on our website to guide you through it.
